What…would you do if you weren’t working for Sanderson Weatherall?
Travel the world or start a small holding, but realistically Town Planning.
Why…is it an exciting time in Commercial Property at the moment?
The economy is clearly at a crossroads, but a lot of the ‘bad’ has already happened in property.
People are beginning to creep back to the market and the previous ‘anything goes’ concept is being replaced by a more thoughtful and innovative approach to development.
Whilst challenging, it makes for a very interesting and dynamic field of work; and more knowledge and skills will be gained by those working in this scenario which can then be applied to create a better economy.
When…you have a day off what do you get up to?
Mostly spending time with my young family and where possible visiting new places and seeing new things.
How…do you celebrate a successful deal?
Success in my field of planning is usually through achieving planning consent. Where deals are made on the back of my endeavours I do acknowledge the ‘win’, but if I said that champers and caviar were involved, I’d be lying!
