Our North East-based Building Consultancy and Architecture teams work with a wide variety of clients in the public, private and third sectors offering an extensive range of services relating to the built environment.
Our team has enjoyed a working partnership for the best part of a decade with St Cuthberts Care, a charity that operates across the whole of the North East to help the most vulnerable members of our communities.
During this time, we have delivered on a wide range of projects from facility creation to planning applications and building conversions.
In May 2007, we completed a project at its Alan Shearer Activity Centre, a development which included a short break centre, activity area with café, hydrotherapy pool, sensory cave, cinema and giant ball pool.
In 2009, we converted a site in Darlington into a new children’s home, creating new bedroom spaces and a homework area. Also that year, we delivered an extension to the Alan Shearer Activity Centre which created additional bedroom accommodation for its respite facility.
At present, our team is working on a development project for the charity’s office premises on West Road in Newcastle and alterations to form an additional 35 bedrooms to St Catherine’s Nursing Home.
To celebrate our long-standing client relationship with St Cuthberts Care, Sanderson Weatherall is the sponsor of its Holly Ball, taking place Friday 2 December at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead hotel.
It promises to be a great night and our team is certainly looking forward to an evening of fundraising and entertainment with clients and colleagues.
